Singer Dionne Warwick files for bankruptcy after owing back taxes for 10 million dollars. Warwick best known for hits like ” That’s What Friends are For” and ” I Say a Little Prayer” filed a chapter 7 petition in US bankruptcy in an New Jersey court last Thursday. Ms. Warwick, 72, claims that her monthly expenses exceed over 20,000 a month and the best solution was to file. On the petition to the Internal Revenue Service  it claims Warwick owes 7 million dollars in taxes from 1991 to 1999 and also owes business taxes to the state of California for 3 million dollars.
