Chris Lighty’s death as of Friday has been ruled a suicide. His ex-wife Veronica Lighty’s friend Norman Downes made a statement on her behalf that she did not fight with him before his death. She is deeply sadden by his passing and is asking for privacy during this difficult time. Downes also stated that he was going through financial problems and was in a lot of pain prior to the incident.
