Dear Jersey, 

I am single woman whose looking to settle down but the pickings are slim. I’ve been on a lot of bad dates lately and I am starting to wonder is there something I’m giving off?  Can you give a girl some helpful dating tips on where to meet good men?

I’ve been here before and I know exactly what you mean. Dating losers and men who simply aren’t interesting can be a drag and beyond frustrating. When I was single I put myself in places and in activities with like-minded people. I met my husband doing something I enjoyed. 

Typically when you are doing something that you enjoy whether volunteering, book club, arts, etc you will find men to talk to who you already have something in common with.

For right now I would recommend you take some of the pressure off in trying to find someone and just do things you love. A man will come as long as you are open to receive him. Don’t give up honey. You will find someone whose just for you. I hope I helped you.
