Drake and The Homies Drink Out of His Grammy Award!

Drake is doing promotion for his upcoming album “Nothing Was the Same”. In the video it shows his reaction to the Grammy being opened for the first time with his name and album on the award. He won Best Rap Album for “Take Care” in 2012. The small clip shows all of his homies who helped him take a shot from the megaphone in congratulations of his Grammy win.

The interesting part to me was him reliving the things he said he wanted and now through hard work they have manifested. Drake was in complete shock at how he could achieve so much in so little time. Him explaining his dreams in this five minute piece shows you a more humble side to the rapper than his stage persona. Drake has already released two songs from the upcoming album “Started from the Bottom” and “Girls Love Beyonce” both records were well received by his fans.

I must admit I do love mixtape Drake a little better than mainstream Drake. If you listen to his earlier music you will hear the difference. I think overall he is a great artist and I enjoy his music. I can’t wait until the new album comes out. I have his first two along with the mixtapes. My favorite Drake song is “Houston, Atlanta, Vegas” that is my damn jam!  Everyone is waiting for what the Canadian rapper will do next including me. Good Luck Drake!
