With the new music dropping you know the online music conspiracies have already started to circulate. Sources are saying that Drake who is under the Young Money Label and Cash Money Imprint only had a four album deal. According to Eonline other details of his deal are secret but this album would make four which means he is FREE.

At this point he would be out of his contract and able to move along. It couldn’t come at a better time with the turmoil between Lil Wayne and Birdman. Reportedly Lil Wayne has a lawsuit against Birdman for 51 million dollars due to a breach of contract.

Lil Wayne is suing due to Birdman holding the release of The Carter V and for funds not paid to him upon its beginning/end of making that album. His anger could be heard on his mixtape Sorry for the Wait 2. It’s starting to get very messy over there so if Drake did move on I wouldn’t blame him. I always thought he was in his own lane to begin with.

I don’t believe Drake’s  music or notoriety would change if he left. At the time of his deal he had everything that usually the label would have to offer.

He came with exposure and that’s why he signed a better deal than most new artists. On another note Cash Money Records are no strangers to having money issues with artists. That is why BG, Mannie Fresh, and Juvenile left. At one point the label was a ghost town until Lil Wayne decided to stay and revive it.

However, all of this could just be speculation right? Do you think Drake is packing up?
