Paula Deen’s Best Dishes Can’t Get Her Job Back At Food Network! She’s Fired!

Paula Deen’s Best Dishes Can’t Get Her Job Back At Food Network! She’s Fired!

Paula Deen has been in hot water this whole week in reference to her racist comments about African-Americans. This past Friday the Food Network has fired the star from the channel and has no plans to renew her contract.

The national enquier first broke the story claiming they had video of the Food Network star saying she wanted to hold an event with African-Americans dressed as slaves. Deen has admitted to using the “N” word and making racially charged jokes. Yesterday she made an apology video saying how she is sorry and needs help for being racist.

Now I don’t know what Betty Ford clinic helps with this mind sickness for her to kick her “nigga” habit but I am sure they will find her one. Twitter was having a field day with this news by making a hastag called #paulabestdishes. Twitter users were renaming her food with racist jokes. Some of the best one were #paulabestdishes “nigs in a blanket, massa-roni and cheese, and get away jordan gumbo”. These antics were funny through the twittersphere but everyone wasn’t laughing.

Some African-Americans are up in arms about her recents comments saying they will no longer support her. Now although this is the hot topic now this isn’t the first time Deen’s camp has been accused of throwing the “N” word around. A former employee of Deen’s “The Lady and Son’s” has a lawsuit against her and her brother for comments made in the work place.

Although she maybe a racist Paula Deen has made some good food and I will still be using her recipes. Just because she is racist doesn’t mean I can’t make that cream of mushroom and bacon soup with the scallions. It was all good just a week ago Paula!
