I just started a new no carb diet where I’ve only been eating meat and veggies. I also workout daily and drink plenty of water. When I say plenty I mean a gallon. If you all remember sometime last year I did the water challenge where I was drinking a gallon a day for 30 days. I made it through the whole challenge and I kept it up for a while after. However, I started to slip and I didn’t drink the whole gallon a day. I would get close to it though. As my first choice of drink is always water.

I never could understand those people who say they don’t like the taste of water. You must be drinking some shitty water because it is good to me. It has so many benefits and is my number one beauty secret for bags under the eye, clear skin, and overall youthfulness. Anyhow, today I had spinach, egg whites, and turkey sausage for breakfast. Jimmy Dean as I mentioned in the video makes amazing turkey sausage patties. It doesn’t taste any different from the pork version. The turkey version is over a 100 calories less and gives you the same effect. When I eat them at work I microwave them. I think they taste best with a little crisp on them. So I put them in a pan and let them seer with cooking spray while at home.

Mid-morning snack is a parfait. I take a cup of Dole frozen fruit then top it with Kashi and yogurt. When the fruit melts it gives it a fresh flavor. It’s almost like you are eating a dessert for a morning snack. Lunch is always salad for me. I didn’t add any protein which is usually chicken breast because I forgot it. What I do is use this marinade by Wellesley which is 25 calories for a tablespoon. I leave it on my chicken and then bake it. Once rested I chop it up and then add it to my salad. You can make this ahead and add it to the salad as needed.

Mid-afternoon snack is chips and salsa. Salsa is my go to condiment when I am trying to watch the calories. Its yummy and can basically be poured on any and everything. The chips make me feel like I am cheating but they are super low in calorie. For dinner I had a grilled chicken breast and zucchini spaghetti. I love that combo. It’s yummy and quick. Super flavorful with minimal ingredients. I add my marinade to the chicken and then salt/pepper to the zucchini. I have a meal that’s magic.
