Flavor Flav’s New Restaurant May Go Up in Smoke For Non Payment?

Flavor Flav’s new returant maybe a wrap sooner than he thinks her non payment of his rent. The landlord of the property that Flavor Flav’s Chicken and RIbs sits on has filed an eviction suit against the Hip Hop Hall of Famer.

The landlord claims that the monthly payments of 3,500 have been late and since September 2012 he hasn’t received payment at all. TMZ obtain court documents on the Sterling Heights, Michigan eatery and it confirms by the landlord that he hasn’t recieved payment since the grand opening.

Now it had been rumored since Flav’s resturant opened that the employees weren’t getting paid neither. I have no idea how he or his advisement is running this business but it all sounds like trouble.

The landlord claims he advised Flav of the non payment in January of this year. Flav claimed he knew nothing about the late payments and he wanted to the resolved the matter as soon as possible.

TMZ had obtain a statement from Flavor Flav’s Lawyers stating they had good reason not to pay the landlord. According to his legal team the establishment was filled with monoxide leaking from heaters that could have killed everyone. The FFC&R closed the resturant down because of it.

It has since opened back up and the lawyers have paid money into an escrow account until all these legal matters have been cleared. His team is suing the landlord for over 25k due to damages from the carbon monoxide.

According to Huff Post Chicken and Ribs aren’t the only court troubles the rapper has. Flavor Flav has a trial date on September 30th facing felony assault with a weapon and child endangerment charges.

Damn Flav your 54 your to old for this foolishness. I hope he can work out all this legal trouble.
