Poetic Pilgrimage: Hip Hop in Hijabis

Sukina and Muneera of the UK are taking Hip Hop by storm with Muslim rap.

Poetic Pilgrimage is a hip hop inspirational group who spits verses for Allah. The two best friends travel the world performing in hopes of spreading music that will make you think.

In the 25 minute video via Al Jeezra you see these women perform in many places and countries like Morocco. Some of the crowds were joyous and others were not impressed. I think it is brave, and admirable to be creative in your faith.

I feel God makes no mistakes in the gifts he has provided you. When you are called to share with the world you must listen. Watch the short-film on these amazing women. I was truly touch by their spirits after watching.
