As we all know rapper Rick Ross has been involved in a media frenzy surrounding alleged rape lyrics that included ” Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain’t even know it” .

These lyrics cost Rick Ross his endorsement deal with Reebok. Reebok was approached by many anger women activist groups in an uproar about his choice of lyrics. By losing this deal Ross stands to lose between 3.5 and 5 million dollars.

Ross did apologize for the offensive lyrics but Reebok feels that he didn’t show enough remorse for his actions. He also pulled the song from his mixtape as well but in the end the sneaker brand parted ways with the rapper. Rozay was not happy about his dismissal.

The rumor is he is telling people that he should have received corporate forgiveness for his actions because of what he has brought to the brand. Reebok released a statement about these claims “We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

Do you think he should have received forgiveness or is Reebok right to protect their brand?
