New Music: Dream High Art Feat Jay Z!

I listened to the song and it is typical Dream which means hot beat plus auto-tuning and some prince sounding notes. With the hook that goes ” I make love to my girl and I get high with my niggas” it pretty self explanatory.

Jay Z has a verse on the song and it’s entertaining. The rap mogul makes reference to his wife by saying ” I got home to my Bey Bey”. I am sure that will be a crowd pleaser because everyone thinks their relationship is perfect.

I read that Jay Z and Beyonce’s relationship is the type you should want to be in. I found that assumption hilarious because we only see the parts they allow just like every other relationship. Just because it’s wrapped pretty doesn’t mean the contents fit you specifically.You can admire love but you need love that is designed for you. They paint Bey as this virginal creature who found the perfect man, then got married and had a baby.

We all know that’s not true Camron put herin the Jay Z diss record. Let me not go there because I will be considered a hater not a person with an opinion. I can feel the hate coming my way from my comments. I digress.

All and all the best part of the song is the beat though. I am sure if they play enough it will bang in the club. I believe that the radio convinces you that you like certain songs by playing them over and over again. I am sure that this one will be on the radio in constant rotation.

Take a listen to Dream’s “High Art” and let me know how you feel about it. I give the song a strong 8. I wasn’t blown away but I didn’t want to turn it off either. Then again I like The Dream’s music.
